Starting from April 24, 2019, Parisians and tourists can come in Brasserie Bellanger. Behind this new place, there’s a story first, the story of Charly and Victor. Both fascinated by good food, they come upon Charly’s great-great-grand-mother Marie-Louise Bellanger’s cooking book.
They discover then the secrets of the authentic Beef Bourguignon, the beautiful story of the sole meunière, the timeless Parisian croque-monsieur… In other words, all the traditional recipes of the terroir. Classics that you can find on the Brasserie Bellanger menu.
Aiming at bringing the typical Parisian brasserie field back to life, Victor and Chalry bet on French cuisine based on raw and well-sourced ingredients coming from their favorite farmers.
With a menu renewed weekly, the Brasserie Bellanger expects to seduce people’s taste buds with a 12-hour stewed Boeuf du Bourdonnais and mashed potatoes with salted butter, as well as Sole Meunière, fresh and delivered straight from the Daubert fishing boat and its duo of vegetables and steamed potatoes, or the irresistible sausage-mashed potatoes with a genuine knife-cut sausage from Laguiole, its meat-jus cooked for 8 hours and salted buttered mashed potatoes.
The whole is obviously homemade of course, on the spot and prepared every morning by Thibault (who trained at Christian Constant’s Violon d’Ingres) and his team.
The bonus? Prices rarely go above €15!
Meet from April 24 to enjoy the nice dishes by Brasserie Bellanger.
