Peruvian food lovers, restaurant INKA got a makeover. New design, new menu and new chef with Juan Carlos Récamier who brings the fundamentals of the Peruvian and Nikkei gastronomy up to date.

Freshly arrived from San Diego, where he made himself a name with his own healthy restaurant specialized in ceviche, Mexican chef Juan Carlos Récamier gets behind the stove of restaurant INKA at Hotel 1K Paris.

Wishing to return to the basics of the Peruvian and Nikkei gastronomy (a mix of Peruvian and Japanse cuisine), while highlighting the notions of sharing and conviviality, the chef unveils a mouthwatering menu indisputably inviting to a travel.

For meat lovers, you should try the selection of anticuchos, another and typically Peruvian specialty that looks like barbecued marinated meat skewers. Available: beef, chicken as well as mushrooms.

Also discover the platillos with the Papa a la Huancaina based on botija olives and Maison Bayard potatoes or the Nikkei beef tartare based on marrow bone, soya and French beef.

As for sweet-toothed foodies, fall for the surprising aguacate, a delicious mix of white chocolate, crispy corn and avocado sorbet. Unless, you’re more into chocolate so that you should fall for the Chocolate based on citrus fruits, gianduja and crumble.

And to make the best of these dishes, there’s nothing quite like a Pisco Sour or a wine coming straight from Latin America.
