Since it has opened, the restaurant influenced by Asia, La Bauhinia, never had a terrace. In 2019, it will be something from the past since, starting this May 20, 2019 and all summer long, the restaurant moves out: it leaves its noble, cozy and soft walls of Shangri-La to settle in the temporary terrace set in front of the palace.
La Bauhinia terrace – even though at the heart of Paris – has been created to deliver a haven of peace to its guests.
The flower-filled atmosphere and the invitation to travel can be experience especially thanks to chef Christophe Moret’s menu that provides dishes between French and exotic cuisines, with some Asian influences.
Foie gras, duck, Royans ravioli, green asparagus and soft-boiled egg rub shoulders with laksa, whipping tiger, pad Thai and even Kai Satay.
On the terrace, the menu is exceptionally shorter. At lunchtime it also features a poke bowl.
At nighttime, pride of place will be given to tapas and tasty cocktails with strong vegetal notes (fruits, herbs, spices, flowers…) prepared by Le Botaniste barmen.
We’re looking forward to the sun finally returning to make the best of this new terrace. Aren’t you?
