Créatures, the rooftop restaurant back on the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann terrace

Every summer season has its share of surprises. In previous years, the Moma Group created quite a stir with the opening of Créatures. Perched on the roof terrace of Galeries Lafayette Paris-Haussmann, this restaurant featured 100% vegetarian dishes by chef Julien Sebbag. The good news is that the ephemeral restaurant is reopening for spring-summer 2023!

For Créatures, Julien Sebbag has devised a menu featuringvegetarian and vegan dishes, including recipes from Mediterranean cuisine. Note that 100% of the menu is vegetarian, and around 40% is vegan. The young chef has accepted the challenge once again, to the delight of our taste buds.

Julien Sebbag 's objective? To make vegetables and fruit"sexy, gourmet, innovative, delicious, surprising and exciting". And he's more than succeeded! To achieve this, the chef focuses on quality, using organic, local and seasonal vegetables and fruit. Many of the ingredients used in the dishes and cocktails come directly from the urban vegetable gardens set up around and just above the restaurant. And for those with a taste for clever beverages, Créatures also boasts a cocktail bar with a focus on herbs and plants.

As for the decor, we love the splendid green terrace, ideal for enjoying the warm summer days, with a breathtaking view over the rooftops of Paris as a gift. And this year, Créatures is unveiling a new space, Créatures Bakery! Fresh from the oven, soft, crunchy croissants, puff pastries filled with sweet delights and plump, golden brioches now accompany morning appointments. This cool, cosy atmosphere also extends into the afternoon for a well-deserved tea time!

For this new summer season, the €22 breakfast menu offers a choice of :

• A homemade pastry of the day
• Fresh or squeezed juice, with options such as Confiance or Bonheur fresh juices
• A hot drink, from a simple espresso to your choice of tea
• Muesli or Turkish Eggs
  

If your appetite is whetted during the day, let yourself be tempted by dishes such as :

• Pancakes with maple syrup and seasonal fruit (9€)
• Greek Salad with cherry tomatoes, avocado, feta marinated in sesame oil, chopped black olives, cucumber, zaatar (16€)
• Sweet Potato roasted, thina, herb salad, hazelnut, sumac red onion pickles (12€)
• Bloody Beetroot, beet millefeuille, mashed potatoes, aioli, chimichurri (14€)

To end on a sweet note, opt for the hazelnut crumble (13€), the choco tart (11€) or the nougat glacé with tahini (9€).
