With this second address, Cyrille Rosetto came up with a trendy table focusing more on food than Le Bel Ordinaire Rive Droite but still in love with delicious beverages – understand organic wines.
Doubling up as a lovely delicatessen with a large cheese, charcuterie and other treat offers, Le Bel Ordinaire Rive Gauche serves a market cuisine created by Clément de la Jonquière and based on fresh and seasonal ingredients selected with small producers.
At the counter, inside or comfortably seated on the terrace in the sun, browse the menu likely to change very often with seasons and the chef’s mood. The lunch menu is mouthwatering and for a small price: €21 starter/main course or main course/dessert, €26 for the complete set menu.
Short, the lunch menu includes 2 starters, 2 main courses and 2 desserts, we tried it all, starting with the generous Caesar salad and trout served with burrata, cucumber and virgin sauce. A beautiful start that the chef enhances by making us taste to an incredible whole braised broccoli available on the dinner menu that we recommend with your eyes closed.
Then, let’s move to turf with pork belly, perfectly cooked, and the super crispy and smooth pommes dauphine; and surf with a roast line-caught hake, einkorn and celeriac risotto.
As for desserts, we’re not left out either, a tasty and regressive dessert, on one hand chocolate mousse and Tonka ice cream, on the other hand, a seasonal dessert: a rhubarb tart with yogurt sorbet.
If I know one thing for sure, this beautiful address will make many people living on the Left Bank (and elsewhere) very happy!
