Things always come in threes and chef Wim Van Gorp knows it. After his first restaurant, Comme Chez Maman, and his second restaurant, Wim ç Table, both set on rue des Moines in the Batignolles area, in September 2019 he will open La Table d’à Côté, his third restaurant, set again on rue des Moines. A table that will be the annex of Comme Chez Maman.
La Table d’à Côté – a 22-seat restaurant – will provide a buffet for a quick lunch and dinner for those in a hurry, but always in a bistronomic way.
Wim Van Gorp grew up in Belgium and he developed and improved his taste for good earth products and a friendly and hearty cuisine thanks – among others – his farmer grand-father. He then go trained by the greatest Michelin starred chef (Alain Ducasse, Joël Robuchon to name a few).
Close to his natal Flanders, Wim Van Gorp own his own brewery and brews his own beer for 3 years, the Wim, to enjoy at his restaurants but not only.
At his restaurant Wim Van Gorp provides the greatest classics of the French cuisine: Comme chez Maman – soon to be 10 – revisit the classics of the bourgeoise cuisine such as veal blanquette but with vanilla and lemongrass, or stewed seafood. At Wim à Table we enjoy a lighter bistro cuisine. At at La Table d’à Côté, we’ll have a buffet, then.
