After closing for a few days off this summer, bistro Instinct – a bistronomic restaurant on rue Picardie, Paris 3rd arrondissement – reopens for September 2019 with a few novelties in store. Starting with a new lunch offer, available from Tuesday to Saturday.
In a bistro/canteen spirit, this new offer provides two starters for €4, two main courses for €11 (a meat and a fish) and two desserts for €4. If our numbers are right, thanks to this offer you can have lunch at Instinct with a starter, a main course and a dessert – entirely homemade – for €19. The smallest appetites can just have a starter/main course or main course/dessert combo for €15.
A (very) reasonable set menu for the area set between the Marché des Enfants Rouges and the Carreau du Temple.
For this lunch menu, bistro Instinct offers on the board revisited bistro cuisine such as French starters that are still hype such as deviled egg or leek and vinaigrette, cucumber with cream, whelks or shrimps served with mayonnaise and even homemade terrines.
As well as classic main courses but still oh-so successful such as steak and fries or sausage and mashed potatoes or even revisited croque-monsieur shaped like a toast with a thick slice of farmhouse bread, bechamel sauce, emmental cheese without forgetting the star, Prince de Paris ham.
As for desserts, it's all about classics such as brownie or coco-lemon crumble, very tasty, but light enought thanks to its mousse to feel good at the end of the meal.
If you happen to be in the neighborhood for lunch, don’t hesitate to come and have a lunch break at Instinct.
