Young Californian chef David Hoover takes over brunch at the Grand Amour Hotel, from September 29 to December 1, 2019.

To treat yourself to a brunch with flavors from elsewhere, head to theGrand Amour hotel, from September 29 to December 1, 2019. The 10th arrondissement hotel is entrusting the reins of its brunch to a chef straight from California: young chef David Hoover.

Having worked at Café Patachou, a renowned brunch restaurant in Indiana - owned by his mother - and at Tartine Bakery in San Francisco, as well as running two restaurants, Crispy Bird and Bar Onefourteen, David Hoover is bringing a little of his American know-how and recipes back to the capital.

Every weekend until the beginning of December, the chef will be offering Californian-influenced recipes. On the menu, 5 creative, healthy and gourmet dishes:

  • Avocado toast, tomato pickel, radish, sesame, crispy rice
  • Green salad, pistachio vinaigrette, mirabelle plums, sesame cracker
  • "Hash Brown" with chanterelle mushroom and egg sauce
  • Truffle burger, brioche bun, aioli, Malvarosa cheese, black truffles
  • Waffle, hazelnut butter, maple syrup, figs

To be accompanied by your choice of Matcha latte, Bloody Mary or house coffee liqueur!
