If the current trend is all-things healthy, veggie and gluten-free, Liberty's has decided to swim backwards.
Liberty’s is a burger restaurant set in Paris 12th arrondissement a stone’s throw from the marché d'Aligre and perfectly embraces the fact they serve hearty burgers that also are fat. Yes, burgers are fat.
Liberty’s prepares authentic hearty, fat burgers and the fatter, the better, some might say.
All ingredients used at Liberty’s are French (here, no Japanese beef or English cheddar) and even local. Seasonal vegetables come from the neighbor, the vegetable grower of the Marché d’Aligre. Buns come from Bread Shop in Vitry-sur-Seine. And the Aubrac beef is bred by Franck Canal who’s just been awarded the “Bleu Blanc Coeur” label. The vegetarian alternative comes from Beyond Meat.
In addition to burgers, Liberty’s concocts milkshakes. Yet, as Liberty’s pastry talents are limited (you can’t be perfect all the time), desserts come from Adria’s Bakery, another neighbor who delivers cheesecakes, muffins and cookies daily.
Burgers fans, Liberty’s is your new spot to try.
