It used to be the Etoile Saint-Germain-des-Prés movie theater, but it has been refurbished recently and named Beau Regard. It now provides an atypical concept: the place mixes restaurant, bar and movie theater. How uncommon.
Beau Regard menu has been created by several-time-starred chef Mathieu Pacaud (L’Ambroisie, Apicius…). We have, for instance, dishes to share (salmon gravlax, oysters, cold cut boards…) for a pre-dinner treat, as well as – as for starters – tomato gazpacho, foie gras and even sea bass, tuna and salmon sashimi.
As for main courses, the chef provides fishes (crusted sea bass, whiting, Bearnaise brill, lobster…), as well as meats (veal, pork ribs, side of beef…). Moving on to dessert, you’ll be able to choose between apple tart, chocolate soufflé, red berry pavlova and passion fruit vacherin.
We owe the decoration of the place to Studio KO and it’s resolutely retro.
From a simple movie theater, Beau Regard has become a true place of life where we can watch movies, have a drink and eat.
Soon, from January 15 to 21, 2020, Beau Regard will host the Festival Télérama.
And how about starting 2020 with discovering Beau Regard?
