Paris best pizza is back as La Manifattura reopens!

The second edition of the “Best Pizza in Paris” championship left the veils on the finalists and the winner. Set in Montparnasse, La Manifattura wins the coveted prize, followed by Eataly Marais and That’s Life restaurant. Good news, la Manifattura reopened in early June and hs now fully reopened on June 15, 2020!

Yes, you get it… Parisian streets don’t lack of pizza restaurants. But it’s not always easy to choose among all those restaurants and pizzerias. So, to make sure you don’t end up with a too-baked and disappointing pizza, here’s the winners 2019 of the “Cucina Italiana Senza Frontiere” project. Carried out by the cultural association Medea created by president Antonio Castronovo and secretary Marcello Zaccagnini, this contest has elected, for the second year of the row, the best pizza in Paris!

After judging many pizzas, the “Cucina Italiana Senza Frontiere” contest unveiled this Monday January 20, 2020, the final 6 as well as the lucky winner of this second edition. The winning restaurant is La Manifattura set in the Montparnasse area. And indeed, after visiting it ourselves, we have been delighted by the heart pizzas filled with flavorful ingredients and the light dough. But beware, you better not leave La Manifattura without trying their tiramisu that also deserves an award.

Good news, if you have not had the occasion yet to visit this awarded address prior to the coronavirus epidemic leads to the closure of restaurants, the best pizzeria in Paris has reopened on June 2, 2020 to fully reopen on June 15. Kickoff at noon to enjoy a meal on the terrace!

Note that the 6 winning pizzerias have been judged by a special panel of jury including the testimonies of “Cucina Italiana Senza Frontiere”: Julien Serri (French cuisine academician, pizzaiolo chef), Alfredo Nicolò (chef with a thirty-year career in the food industry), and chef Nino La Spina (station cook at Mauro Colagreco’s restaurant Mirazur Menton).
