Have you heard about we are_ la Maison des industries créatives? Set in Paris 8th arrondissement, this place is devoted to interactions and meetings with players of these industries. In June, the place opened its outdoor restaurant open to all by booking. True haven of peace in the heart of Paris, we are_restaurant is nestled in an incredible and discreet green garden covering 1200sqm.

Chef Arthur Jallerat runs the kitchen after working at L’Ambroisie, L’Orangerie du Georges V and L’Arpège. For the place, he came up with hearty “home-inspired” food based on seasonal ingredients. On the menu? Dishes to share (2, 3 or 4 depending on your appetite) including bluefin tuna tartare, sea urchin taramasalata, beef tartare, roasted duck breast and deviled egg sprinkled with pistachios, without forgetting vegetable tian, and king shrimp and cherry tomato salad.

We went for the very light and delicious yellow and green zucchini carpaccio and sesame oil, as well as the irresistible colorful tomatoes and creamy burrata.

Honorable mention to the hearty squid salad perfectly seasoned.

And for sweet-toothed foodies, we cannot recommend enough this unforgettable and indulging break with desserts by Martine Lambert, and especially the “Merveilleux”: generous and magnificent meringue dessert enhanced with raspberry sorbet. A wonderful frozen delight to taste asap!

Besides, we are_ also launched a concept store selling organic products manufactured within 100km from Paris. The occasion to promote local consumption and discover fruits and vegetables from the Les Saisonniers store, IPA beer brewed in Paris, honey made northern Paris, products from Café Joyeux and even boxes from Boucherie Nivernaise butchers’ shop…
