Very tasty Italian restaurant in the Parisian Golden Triangle, Boccador has been allowed to exceptionally set up a temporary terrace for the summer 2020 in front of the restaurant.
Set up on parking spot, this lively and charming wooden terrace is filled with plants, provides shade with the large sunshades and can fit up to ten patrons.
For now, Boccador is allowed to keep the terrace until September 30, 2020.
In addition to its new terrace, Boccador also presents a new menu for the summer 2020 valid until October. The new chef – who was the second for many years and recently promoted – has come up with summer and rather light dishes. Starting with the traditional burrata (served with cherry tomatoes and arugula), or even seabass carpaccio seasoned with lemon and olive oil. Two very fresh and flavorful starters.
Moving on to main courses, in addition to fishes and meats, Boccador also offers several recipes of pasta. Including the “genuine” carbonara without cream but an egg yolk, pecorino, pancetta, perfectly peppered, and homemade lasagna. Dishes not so light for the summer but very indulging that (almost) make us travel to Italy.
As for sweet treats, in addition to the classic tiramisu and pineapple carpaccio, Boccador teamed up with ice-cream MOF Emmanuel Ryon and his store Une Glace à Paris to propose ice creams. On the menu, pistachio, almon, fior di latte ice cream, or Mara des Bois strawberry ice cream. A very refreshing note to finish the meal on a sweet note.
All dishes are homemade, from braid to olives, from cheese to fennel.
And this summer, the neighborhood is pretty empty and rue Boccador very quiet. We are almost never bothered by vehicles when on the terrace. Which is very delightful.
