Patrol is the bohemian brasserie to be enjoyed all day long. Beautiful décor, open-plan kitchen, mouthwatering dishes and surprising recipes, go and enjoy it, have an excellent homemade smoothie with your family, as a couple, or with friends. Topped croissants, pancakes, avocado toasts, tartares and brasserie dishes are to be expected.
And this summer, choose between the terrace facing the Luxembourg garden or the ground-floor room or the room upstairs, taking you to its lush fauna.
On the menu, a €23-brunch set menu including croissant, yogurt and granola, avocado brioche with poached egg, a hot beverage, a fruit juice and… a nice glass of spritz with or without alcohol or a smoothie. Served from noon, the menu is mouthwatering and enables small appetites to be set for the day.
But the menu eyes at us. On the menu, 3 novelties: Argentinean Angus cube roll, chimichurri sauce and fries, the seabream fillet, satay sauce and roasted vegetables, and the beetroot veggie risotto with gorgonzola. As for us, we go for the perfectly cooked seabream with crispy skin. We love the balanced satay sauce and the still crunchy root vegetables.
We also go for the savory croissants. And enjoy the asparagus and runny poached egg version with orange hollandaise sauce. As curious as we are, we want to try the hearty Brioche Elvis based on peanut butter, banana, and grilled bacon. Surprising, it is a must-try. Looking for something fresh? Have the salmon ceviche that actually is some salmon-avocado tartare served with tasty jasmine rice.
Of course, pair it all with the smoothie of the day or some tasty cocktail. We went for the “Dia de Los Muertos” based on tequila, mezcal, raspberry, passion fruit, lime and Ginger beer, the whole served in a skull-shaped glass.
As a dessert, a nice tray displays treats available. Between the seasonal tartlets, the chocolate cake, or the carrot cake or pancakes, it is up to you. But we went for a mouthwatering cheesecake with red berry sauce.
