And three! Tripletta opened in July 2020 its third address in Paris. After Belleville, then Montparnasse, the “Neapolitan” pizza specialist has decided to settle in the middle of the Latin Quarter, a stone’s throw from the Censier Daubenton metro station.
With its lovely décor and its wonderful Italian welcome, the new place by Tripletta is likely to become the new headquarters of the locals. And we must say the pizzeria bets on a colorful typical bistro-like décor with trendy touches, but not only…
Of course, there is the impressive wood-fired oven where pizzas cook slowly and with love. As for the menu, classics such as the pizzas “Tripletta” (DPO San Marzano tomato sauce, DPO parmesan, fresh basil, mozzarella fior di latte from Agerola, spianata calabra, green peppers, N’duja di Spilinga), “Touco” (tomato sauce, spianata salabra, gorgonzola, green peppers, mozzarella), or “Brooklyn” (double DPO San Marzano tomato sauce, DPO parmesan, fresh basil, mozzarella fior di latte from Agerola, double pepperoni)… They are all made and worked by the Neapolitan tradition with products 100% Italian labelled DPO and/or organic.
Are you more into “Gustosa” (pesto di basilico, DPO parmesan, fresh basil, mozzarella fior di latte from Agerola, salame di maialina nero casertano) or “Manzonini” (mozzarella fior di latte from Agerola, arugula, bresaola, DPO parmesan, basil pesto)?
As for us, we went for the unmissable “Prosciutto e Funghi” (DPO San Marzano tomato sauce, DPO parmesan, fresh basil, mozzarella frio di latte from Agerola, 1930 Italiano ham, fresh mushrooms). So good!
And if you crave something more original, go for one of the four gourmet pizzas exclusively created by the chef. There is the one based on truffle cream, the one with ricotta or the one with candied lemon for a lot of freshness. And what about the fourth one? This is a great pizza with pesto rosso, mozzarella di bufala, smooth eggplants and arugula!
For a genuine Italian experience, start with some smooth classica burratina to share (or not), or a plate of wood-fired oven baked vegetables (zucchinis, artichoke hearts, eggplants, bell peppers).
And to finish on a sweet note, to make our taste buds happy, have some rum baba or the incredible and hearty tiramisu!
Last but not least, to pair these delicious pizzas, there is nothing quite like a cocktail such as Spritz or Negroni. Wine fans are not left out with some wonderful bottles of organic and natural wines coming from Veneto, Piedmont, Apulia, and Tuscany.
So, are you ready to travel to Italy from the Latin Quarter? Oh, and there is something for indoorsy people, Tripletta also delivers pizza, it would be a shame to say no!
