Japanese food lovers, unite! Ponzu – the famous Japanese restaurant in Paris 16th arrondissement – invites you to travel to faraway lands with colorful Asian food available in delivery and click & collect.
Bao burgers, poke bowls filled with colors, sushi and hearty maki, or even ice mochi… A feast on any occasion!
But why Ponzu? As a tribute to the famous sauce from the Japanese gastronomy based on citrus fruits such as yuzu. The restaurant’s special feature? Offering a whole bunch of Asian dishes inspired by food trends.
At the top of the list, the bao burger with moist steamed buns, of course. And for rice fans, you can go for the signature maki “truffe tuna” based on raw tuna, Thai chives, truffle oil, spicy mayonnaise, or the signature maki “circle salmon spicy”, a round sushi based on salmon, Japanese mayonnaise, tobiko wasabi, pomegranate, Thai chives, and mint.
As for us, we went for a nice selection of maki and sushi (the Black Box No.2 if you are interested!), and it was de-li-ci-ous. Maki and sushi are super fresh, with a nice balance between the rice and the fish (many Japanese restaurants in Paris put one more than the other). The classic sushi are excellent, so you can imagine the signature maki: a genuine dish in one bite!
Please also note there is a vegetarian and vegan range of dishes such as fried tofu poke, vegetable gyozas, vegan rolls, and even vegetarian fried spring rolls if you are interested and if you happen to be vegetarian or vegan!
In other words, high-quality Japanese cuisine with fresh and quality products that even are affordable!
And during this period of crisis, the restaurant can deliver your food straight to your door and also provides a click & collect service. Head to the restaurant’s website to order!
