Feel like discovering Armenian cuisine? If so, then head to Mantchouk, the latest restaurant x caterer by Petrossian in the 17th arrondissement of Paris. It is as if the house was back to its roots.

Maison Petrossian unveils a new place opening this Fall, and maybe the most intimate of all, paying tribute to its roots. Called Mantchouk, this restaurant – doubling up as caterer – shines a light on Armenian dishes.

Mikael Petrossian’s inspiration to come up with Mantchouk? Irene, his grand-mother, and his aunts, all great cooks who used to gather the family around large tables packed with traditional dishes: soubeureg (cheesy lasagna), dolmas (stuffed vegetables), mantis (beef, vegetable and salmon ravioli), beuregs (crunchy cheese, spinach or meat puffs), eetch salad with tomato and herb bulgur, soudjouks or even bastermas (spicy beef cold cuts).

Many family and exotic dishes curious people can now discover at Mantchouk and at any time of the day! Feel like taking a lunch break? Mantchouk serves takeaway lavash basterma sandwiches or kotletys (meat keufte) to enjoy on site! Craving an afternoon snack? Enjoy gatas (small sweet rolls), vatrouchkas (cheese cakes), tcheuregs (braided buns) and even chocolate pirojkis!

And for an original at-home dinner, get vospov keufte (cold lentil and bulgur keuftes), beetroot bortsh, tzatziki, marinated bell pepper salad, or onion and tomato-stuffed eggplants. Without forgetting drinks, kwass (traditional soda), local wines and imported beers!

Great discoveries for your taste buds are to be expected!
