Looking for a new restaurant or a nice coffee shop to have lunch or brunch, or even get a cup of a delicious plant-based latte with oat milk? Go and discover Petit Crème Montorgueil setting up at 28 rue Montorgueil, a stone’s throw from Châtelet les Halles and the famous Jardin Nelson Mandela.
On site, discover a lovely flowered restaurant making us want to have a seat – but it can only happen when cafés and restaurants are allowed to reopen.
The place opens from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. to takeaway. Outside meal hours, enjoy vegan lattes based on oat milk along with warm or iced teas. As noon approaches, discover the short but tasty menu – like in coffee shops. Burgers, waffles, as well as avocado toasts and salads are available.
We take our lunch away, and run for a picnic in the famous garden, in front of the Saint-Eustache Church.
We had our hearts set on the super indulging brioche avocado that is not based on white bread but brioche. With an extra side of salmon because we are hungry!
We also tested the hearty Bacon Waffle.
To make this meal even more beautiful, a nice Caesar salad with crunchy chicken, and we were in heaven.
And because there is no proper meal without a dessert… And we could have even just ordered desserts and we would have been happy… Anyway, to wrap up our meals on a sweet note, we went for a waffle with red berry spread and the delicious and moist French toast covered in spread and fresh fruits, so good.
In other words, if you are looking for a simple offer, without fuss, season-friendly and tasty, this restaurant might delight you.
