Calling all poke bowls fans! We have found a place really worth the trip. Nestled in Paris 11th arrondissement, Pokelife takes you on a delicious trip to Hawaii thanks to a health, varied, colorful, super tasty menu packed with vitamins.

The poke bowl concept has taken over Paris a few years ago. This dish originating from Hawaii has become a food habit for many city dwellers as if nothing had happened. We must say poke bowls have been conquering the biggest foodies because of their nutritional intake mixing proteins, raw vegetables, and seeds. This is what pleased Najia. The entrepreneur has found in this culinary specialty everything she needed after each of her work out. Without a second thought, she has decided to go on this journey, opening Pokelife. It is in the 11th arrondissement of Paris Najia chose to open her colorful and friendly restaurant where healthy and fresh dishes delight local inhabitants’ taste buds, but not only.

At Pokelife, everything is homemade and you are provided with a lot of varied choice. You can go for one of the 7 signature poke bowls. Are you more into “Kawai” (marinated bluefin tuna, fresh mango, beetroots, carrots, wakame seaweed salad, and sesame seeds), “Molokai” (teriyaki chicken, pineapple, avocado, tomatoes, corn, cucumber, sesame seeds, fried onions), “Maui”, (marinated tofu, tomatoes, fresh mango, edamame, wakame seaweed salad, carrots, sesame seeds, fried onions), or “Oahu” (marinated salmon, fresh mango, radish, red cabbage, avocado, edamame, sesame seeds, soy sprouts, fried onions)?

We went for the “Kohala” based on marinated salmon with spicy honey, passion fruit, edamame beans, avocado, grated carrots, and sesame mix. Fresh, tasty, and colorful!

And to take this signature poke bowl up a notch, Pokelife has called in a chef who created exquisite dressings, made every day based on fruits and homemade preparations. The goal? Limiting industrial dressings packed with salt and sugar. We love the “Mango Rumbo” based on mango, basil, lemon, olive oil, and garlic. But perhaps will you love “Sweet Love” (fresh raspberry, basil, fresh lemon juice, and olive oil) more, or the delicious “Avococo” (coconut milk, avocado, lemon, and a pinch of salt); a sweet and delicious dressing we selected to pair our second poke bowl we have had custom-made.

Yes, at Pokelife, you can make your very own recipe based on thirty ingredients. Choose your base (rice or salad), then some protein (salmon, tuna, tofu, chicken, shrimp). Add some fresh vegetables and fruits (maximum 5) among avocado, radish, sunomono (marinated cucumber), pineapple, mango, pomegranate. Finish with a few toppings (sesame seeds, chia seeds, fried onions, sunflower seeds…), and do not forget to choose your homemade marinade! And you get an excellent poke bowl based on vinegar white rice, marinated salmon, soy sprouts, red cabbage, mango, wakame seaweeds, danmiji (the famous Korean yellow radish), sesame seeds, squash seeds, and avococo dressing.

After all this, perhaps would you like some dessert? Once again, Pokelife bets on choice, homemade dark chocolate mousse and chopped peanuts, cottage cheese topped with chia seeds and red berries, bubbies, and even some delicious yuzu cheesecake we highly recommend.
