Even though tourists are not all back in Montmartre, the neighborhood is changing. In addition to the opening of Sacré Coeur, restaurant Le Bimbo set at the corner of rue des Trois Frères and rue Chappe enjoys a wide terrace.
At Le Bimbo, the menu is simple and effective, serving French brasserie cuisine, very modern and tinted with foreign inspirations. As a starter, enjoy cold cuts, fried spring rolls, taramasalata, and even burratina. The seabass ceviche is served with delicious lemon and coconut marinade, very fresh and perfect for the summer.
As for main courses, brasserie classics: beef tartare, grilled cheese with truffle cream, roasted seabass fillet, and cheeseburger are available. The cooking of the half-cooked tuna – like a tataki – is mastered and the seasoning is good.
If you still have room for dessert, you can choose between chocolate mousse, red berry pavlova, and lemon meringue pie. The rather regressive French toast with raspberries is enough for two, specifically at the end of a meal.
Like any modern restaurant worthy of its name, Le Bimbo enjoys a rather big cocktail list giving pride of place to Spritz with 5 recipes as well as a Spritz mocktail (namely alcohol-free Spritz). Mixing squeezed orange, soda, and Spritz orange, this beverage is very refreshing when the heatwave hits the town.
Le Bimbo indoor decoration is elegant and warm, mostly based on wood. The restaurant also features a big and sunny terrace likely to be highly coveted.
With Le Bimbo, we have a local restaurant that is not only attracting tourists but local people as well. And the place is good, we guarantee it.
