Magniv is the latest restaurant shaking the Sentier area up. Running this recently inaugurated spot, Benjamin Chiche and Clément Faure, two cocktail masters, and in the kitchen, chef Kobi Villo-Malka founder and chef at Tavline. In the basement, discover a club where ace cocktails are served!

The Sentier area keeps on welcoming new tables, each one more indulging and mouthwatering than the last. After Brasserie Dubillot, Instinct Origine, and more recently Dalia, the remarkable new Levantine restaurant, the district welcomes Magniv, a restaurant doubling up as a bar and a club, covering two stories.

Behind the project, Benjamin Chiche and Clément Faure, two cocktail masters who trained at Mama Shelter, Shirvan, Andy Wahloo, Kube Hôtel, and Carmen; and Kobi Villot-Malka – the Israeli-Moroccan chef who founded and worked as the chef of Tavline restaurant. By day, Magniv is to be discovered on the ground floor, with recipes inspired by Israeli gastronomy, and serves well-shaken cocktails filled with Middle-Eastern influences.

In the kitchen, chef Kobi Villot-Malka – who grew up in Israel and who learnt the ropes in New York thanks to Ducasse group – comes up with many small, big or average plates filled with exotic flavors. Without forgetting breads baked on site – kubaneh, freneh, and focaccia. How about giving you a peak at the menu?

Tacos Temani based on lachuch (Yemenite flatbread), spicy lamb shawarma, harissa carrot, pikcles, green tehina; jumbo shrimp ravioli and crustacean jus with Fakir tea; and mille-feuille, saffron orange cream, orange and cilantro reduction for dessert. You get it, you are about to go on a journey!

By night, head to the basement to access the bar x club. The cocktail list – laid out as a passport – unveils a creative and sharp collection to enjoy to the sound of DJ sets.

A few examples of beverages? The Kenta (Cognac Hennessy VS infused with chai spices, date molasses, apricot liqueur, yellow lemon juice, almond milk and cow’s milk), the Chant des Cigales (Vodka Belvedere Heritage 176 infused with black garlic, Noilly Prat Ambré infused with thyme, rosemary, oregano, bitter olive, bitter celery), or the Black Beauty (Gon Gvine Nouaison infused with sumac, artichoke liquor, Pedro Ximenez, pistachio, verjuice, and rose lemonade).

Let us give it a go, shall we?
