Magniv, the Sentier's restaurant x bar x club

Magniv is the restaurant that's waking up the Sentier district. At the helm of this newly-opened spot are cocktail whizzes Benjamin Chiche and Clément Faure, and in the kitchen, chef Kobi Villot-Malka, founder and chef of Tavline. In the basement, you'll find a club and bar where well-mixed cocktails are the order of the day!

The Sentier district continues to welcome new restaurants, each more colorful and tempting than the last. After Brasserie Dubillot, Instinct Origine and, more recently, Dalia, the remarkable new Levantine restaurant, the district now welcomes Magniv, a two-storey restaurant, bar and club.

Behind the project are Benjamin Chiche and Clément Faure, two cocktail aces who have worked at Mama Shelter, Shirvan, Andy Wahloo, Kube Hôtel and Carmen, and Kobi Villot, the Israeli-Moroccan chef and founder of the Tavline restaurant. By day, Magniv can be discovered on the first floor, with recipes inspired by Israeli cuisine on the plates, and well-mixed Middle-East-influenced cocktails in the glasses.

In the kitchens, chef Kobi Villot-Malka, who grew up in Israel and cut his teeth in New York and with the Ducasse group, imagines a multitude of small, large and medium-sized plates with influences from elsewhere. And let's not forget the breads baked on site - kubaneh, freneh and foccacia. Let's take a look at some of the dishes on the menu?

Temani tacos with lachuch (a Yemeni pancake), spicy lamb shawarma, harissa carrot, pickles and green tehina; langoustine ravioli and shellfish jus with Fakir tea; or mille-feuille, saffron orange cream and coriander orange reduction for dessert. You've got it: we travel!

In the evening, head downstairs to the x club bar. The cocktail menu, presented like a passport, unfolds a creative, cutting-edge score, to be sipped to the sound of DJ sets.

A few examples of the beverages on offer? La Kenta (Hennessy VS Cognac infused with chai spices, date molasses, apricot liqueur, yellow lemon juice, almond milk and cow's milk), Le Chant des Cigales (Belvedere Heritage 176 vodka infused with black garlic, Noilly Prat Ambré infused with thyme, rosemary, oregano, bitter olive, bitter celery) or Black Beauty (Gin Gvine Nouaison infused with sumac, aperitif with artichoke, Pedro Ximenez, pistachio, verjuice and rose lemonade).
