Summer terraces are ultimately up in Paris! by the Seine with wonderful views on the Eiffel Tower, uncommon, mouthwatering, and even lush… They make us happy as soon as days go warmer. Although some of them have been having regulars for years, new ones pop here and there in town, arousing curiosity. This is the case of Hanami. Nestled on the parvis of L’Aquarium de Paris, this new temporary and mouthwatering terrace inspired by Asia will undoubtedly delight many Parisians’ and tourists’ eyes and taste buds. We must say this new open-air restaurant-terrace offers unobstructed views on the Eiffel Tower.
But this is far from being the only asset provided by the temporary place. Hanami is also an open-air Tokyo-inspired food court highlighting Japanese street food. Under the trees of the Trocadero garden have been set “Yatai”, the famous traditional traveling stores that make the fame of Tokyo streets.
On the Hanami terrace, yakitori, ramen, and even donburi are cooked in front of you. And to tickle your taste buds, Hanami called in a female chef you may have heard of, since she was a participant in Top Chef France 2010: Yoaké San. She also trained with prestigious chefs who are renown and awarded stars. Yoaké San came up with a 100% exclusive menu based on products coming from local producers.
Although the menu includes sushi, maki, and shirashi, Hanami stresses out finger food with exquisite Yaki Oyu Chizu, the famous melted cheese beef skewers, as well as Yaki Tsukuné, smooth chicken skewers.
Our hearts set on the perfectly spiced squid Takoyaki! Hanami menu also features grilled vegetable skewers, shrimp gyoza, as well as delicious prawn tempura.
Hanami does not forget about the unmissable ramen with 4 recipes including a delicious tofu ramen with vegan broth and shiitake mushrooms. As for the rest, go for the pork ramen, or the one with chicken, or tempura prawns.
And Hanami does not stop there since the terrace also intends to delight your taste buds with 4 different donburis (prawn, panko coated chicken, fried tofu, pork shashu).
To wrap your meal up on a sweet note, we could not recommend enough to taste the handmade ice mochi flavored with yuzu lemon, salted butter caramel or even chocolate-coconut.
For a complete and successful immersion in the heart of the Country of the Rising Sun without even leaving the French capital, do not forget to pair dishes with some Bubble Tea.
Enjoy this mouthwatering trip!
