Perhaps have you already heard about Pedzouille La Bassecour in Paris 2nd arrondissement or Pedzouille L’Etable in Paris 10th arrondissement. This summer, Pedzouille team – the famous 100% French restaurant proud of their country – sees even bigger and higher by opening La Grange. Set on the 8th floor of Novotel Porte de Versailles in the 15th arrondissement, this new 300sqm rooftop in Paris may blow you away and satisfy your hunger.
Like its older siblings, Pedzouile La Grange bets on authenticity and conviviality with big tables, hearty and typically French dishes, and terroir products sustainably sourced and for very affordable prices (starter + main course + dessert for €20 at lunchtime).
Speaking of dishes, Pedzouille La Grange hopes to delight even the most demanding foodies’ taste buds thanks to a surf & turf menu by Gabriele Faiella (former Anahi & former Beefbar). Open since May 19, this altitutde inn - decorated in a friendly and fun way - offers you to enjoy dishes flambéed live, cuts by the order, or even heart prime ribs of beef cured on site. In no particular order, you will find on your plates the "Steak Barbare" (Bleu d'Auvergne veal, hazelnuts servec with peelings), the "Daurade l'Exploratrice" (gilthead seabream fillet, vegetable tian, aïoli), and some "Ave Pedzouille!" (grilled chicken, ossay-iraty cheese). And do not forget about the festive brunch at weekends available from noon to 3:30 p.m.!
As for us, we went for the Bricheton Sudiste with marinated anchovies, yellow onions, and Nyons olives, as well as for the nice board of cold cuts.
We continued this culinary delight with a delicious sliced duck - perfectly cooked - and some big eggplant, roasted and smooth, served in a shovel!
To finish your meal, you cannot forget about desserts if you want to end on a perfect note. Go for the incredible strawberry pie by Pedzouille La Grange or the very hearty chocolate mousse we highly recommend if you like original sets. We will not tell you more!
To pair these super mouthwatering dishes, Pedzouille La Grange has a few liquid surprises in store to discover with “La cage à vins” including wine by the bottle or self-service tap. And as if this was not enough, the place expects to quench your thirst with two bars: L’Abreuvoir (inside) and La Buvette (outside).
On the menu? Beers, aperitifs, and cocktails including "Mule Bretonne" (Calvados, Breton cider, ginger extract and lime), "Granita Chartreusito" (Chartreuse, mint, lemon), or even "Mojito de Maurice" (Genepi, fir tree liquor, brown sugar, orange bitter, fresh mint). And as the saying goes, things always come in threes! Proof of it with Cracra, a speakeasy (opening soon because of the health context), with pigs hanging from the ceiling.
Oh, we almost forgot the most important part, Pedzouille La Grange is also a wonderful rooftop with unobstructed views on the Eiffel Tower.
So, are you looking forward to reach cloud nine with La Grange? Meet now at the top of Novotel Porte de Versailles to discover Pedzouille’s latest tasty and festive adventure in Paris.
We remind you because of the current health constraints, the restaurant's indoor part is only open to the hotel's clients. Yet, the rooftop is open to all.
