Dalloyau comes to La Samaritaine with Dînette restaurant and L’Exclusive tearoom

La Samaritaine has given Dalloyau a wonderful window with two food areas in the department store set rue de Rivoli. A restaurant, “Dînette”, held by Pierre Koch and a tearoom, “L’Exclusive”, by Jérémy Del Val, moving the Parisian caterer upmarket. For a gourmet or mouthwatering break, count on Dalloyau!

You only have to seat at the end of a hall during your shopping spree. This is the idea of La Samaritaine providing 12 food areas in the new version of the store. Although the real gourmet restaurant, Voyage, stands under the glass ceiling on the 5th floor, mouthwatering offers are available here and there. Among them, “Dînetteby Dalloyau managed by Pierre Koch and “L’Exclusivetearoom by Jérémy Del Val. Respectively set on the women’s fashion and beauty floors, these tables have a luxury je-ne-sais-quoi. Perhaps because of the white furniture, or the windows displaying magnificent dishes and desserts.

Set around an escalator, “Dînette” is impressive. From afar, nothing can let us think this is a restaurant. No reception desk, no wall, just a few men walking between tables set against the window. In the middle of the area, by an escalator, a big presentation table, with dishes put in a cage. We get this is the 10-guest table d’hôte.

Shrimp salad, gravlax salmon, La Samaritaine special desserts, teatime, the place shines a light on the French art de vivre under a glass ceiling that reminds us of the neighboring Louvre. And executive chef Pierre Koch’s dishes are incredible.

“L’Exclusive” counter-tearoom

Dalloyau has carved out a niche for themselves in the French pastry world thanks to Pastry World Champion Jérémy Del Val’s talent. La Samaritaine offered him a pastry counter with a small tearoom with three tables, and bookcase-window displays to show the exclusive entremets he created for the department store.

A flower mixing 46% Dominican Republic milk chocolate mousse with hazelnut gianduja and dry fruit moist cake under a thin milk chocolate shell, as well as l’Exclusive, the signature cake inspired by the fruit tart, likely to stick around. Just for the pleasure of providing good thinks, Del Val has created a music box filled with many treats to die for. A beautiful and timeless jewel box to set in his tearoom!
