After Christian Constant and Cyril Lignac, it's now the turn of David Bottreau (Christian Constant's former right-hand man), creator of Comptoir des Fables, to set up shop on rue Saint-Dominique. Rediscover the restaurant that's going back to basics, bringing traditional bistro cuisine back to the fore under the guidance of Guillaume Dehecq.

Head for Paris's 7th arrondissement, rue Saint-Dominique, to discover Bistrot des Fables, which opened its doors last December, succeeding Café Lignac. It's no coincidence that David Bottreau, current owner of Comptoir des Fables, decided to take over the restaurant. He was Christian Constant's right-hand man when Café Constant opened.

With this takeover, David Bottreau intends to restore the essence of French bistro cuisine that made Café Constant such a success. Le Bistrot des Fables celebrates the simplicity and authenticity of traditional Parisian bistros. David Bottreau, in taking over the reins of this iconic venue, wanted not only to perpetuate a tradition, but also to breathe new life into the bistro experience. Le Bistrot des Fables is positioned as a haven of conviviality and generosity, with dishes that are a true tribute to local cuisine.

Le Bistrot des Fables opens up to us on two levels. Downstairs, a large bar runs along the wall in front of which tables gather. Upstairs, a second room, more generous with tables, is open to us.
