Would you like to discover a gourmet, ultra-friendly place where you'll feel right at home? Head for Boissonnière Charonne, the second address dreamed up by the happy team behind Boissonnière Sentier. Follow us there!

And that's two for La Boissonnière in Paris! After opening a first address on the Sentier side of Paris, the warm-hearted team behind the concept - Carole, Charlie, Chloé and Martin - is giving birth to a new one. We're heading to the east of Paris to push open the doors of La Boissonnière Charonne.

Open since September 3, 2021, this 150-seat restaurant-bar has everything to seduce the taste buds and eyes of you epicureans. First and foremost, there's the decor, both modern and bright, which makes you want to sit back and enjoy the place for long hours. Velvet seating, exposed stonework and warm colors set the tone. We also love the frescoes - one of which catches our eye from the outside terrace - created by local street artists.

On the menu, La Boissonnière Charonne follows in the footsteps of its big brother in Sentier, focusing on local, seasonal and carefully sourced produce. However, the menu is different from that offered at Sentier, with, for example, a smaller wine list (70 references), still featuring quality vintages, most of which are biodynamic or natural. Let yourself be tempted by Les Grands Ducs, a superb Saint Joseph cuvée by François Merlin. Otherwise, for those who prefer a little froth, opt for our carefully selected local craft beers on draught.

To accompany these beverages, La Boissonnière Charonne sets the bar high with delicious tapas plates to share, such as this excellent artichoke cream with white truffle oil, or the Chef's incredible ceviche, sublimated by a few notes of coconut. Two real favorites that leave our taste buds begging for more!

We also loved the homemade gua bao. If you prefer your specialties a little spicier, then opt for the vegetable pakoras, those famous Indian spicy fritters, containing Moroccan green chilli, and accompanied by combawa and dill yoghurt to sweeten the deal. Yes, at La Boissonnière Charonne, get ready for a fabulous and memorable taste journey!

As for the rest, the restaurant-bar in the 11th arrondissement of Paris also offers roasted octopus with miso, duck parmentier cromesquis and duck breast tataki.

To end on a sweet note, we recommend the deconstructed lemon tart, in the form of a lemon cream, with a few pieces of meringue with Chlorophylle de menthe and peppermint syrup, not forgetting slivers of almond cookie.
