You know meat-based smash burgers with pull beef, quickly seared. Dumbo, Blossom Burgers & Beers, Le Camion qui Fume and even Crush Smash Burger serve it.
But now, vegan smash burgers are coming to Paris.
Trailblazer in town, Naked Burger restaurant – that just opened by the Saint-Germain-des-Prés area – makes you discover this concept coming straight from California.
At Naked Burger, enjoy healthy burgers (or almost), 100% plant-based. And one of the best-sellers is a smash burger. Here, no beef meatball smashed on a burning plate, but a vegan steak meatball. Served in a soft bun with plant-based cheddar.
On the menu of Naked Burger? 6 vegan burgers based on steak, cheese, bacon, chicken and even mayonnaise… Only plant-based ingredients, of course. And they are all served with pickled vegetables, crunchy onions, paprika, spicy Cajun sauce and even avocado, depending on recipes.
All these burgers are served – to choose – with a side of French fries, fried sweet potatoes, covered (or not) in cheddar (jalapeños peppers and crunchy onions are an extra), and creamy coleslaw.
As for dessert, Naked Burger serves a choice of cookies, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream, almond milk milkshakes and fruit salads.
The whole in a pastel pink décor with giant plants and neon palm trees!
How about grabbing a vegan smash burger?
