If you're a gourmet, head for Joseph & Raymond, a bistro in the 10th arrondissement that invites you to discover a wide range of Mediterranean flavors thanks to a menu that smells of the sun. A generous and convivial cuisine that will allow you to prolong summer, even this winter!

Fancy a good lunch or dinner in a simple, sunny setting in the 10th arrondissement? Head for Joseph & Raymond, a restaurant on rue du Paradis, inviting you to discover the fine, simple Mediterranean cuisine ofAurel, the man behind this beautiful house. Joseph & Raymond is above all a tribute to two Provençal grandfathers, like a little piece of the South in Paris.

On the kitchen side, you'll find plates to share, as simple as they are convivial, inspired by the Mediterranean: squid à la romaine, soft-boiled eggs with mushrooms, lean ceviche, octopus salad, pork belly, grilled octopus with chorizo cream... A feast for the palate as you travel to the South of France for a tour of the Mediterranean.

A menu we were able to discover... For starters, we were tempted by the squid à la romaine, the"Pitassaladière" - a revisited pissaladière - and the ceviche of lean meat with beet. Starters of surprising finesse and simplicity. Beautiful, tasty and perfect for sharing with family, friends or colleagues. For the main courses, we opted for grilled octopus with chorizo cream, as well as pork belly with creamy polenta, parmesan and thyme.

The pork belly is melt-in-your-mouth, crispy and a perfect accompaniment to the polenta. As for the octopus, it's cooked to perfection and its combination with the chorizo cream is not only surprising, but a pure delight. The dish is accompanied by pommes grenailles and salsify, to complete the dish.

For dessert, roasted figs with honey and chestnut cream topped off the meal. We were also tempted by a test dessert that we hope will soon be offered à la carte: a black forest revisited, consisting of a slice of chocolate tart, a quenelle of cherry crème montée and cherries in syrup. Undeniably our favorite of the meal!
