In this lovely small hotel recently inaugurated, discover when getting in the big central bar with a small and cozy dining room at the back. Keep going and discover the lovely terrace in the inner courtyard, perfect for lunching or having a seat on sunny days.
Moving on to the décor, architect Marion Collard was inspired by the story of the place. She takes us back in time with vintage and bargain-hunted pieces, the whole in an old-Paris atmosphere.
Have a seat at a candlelit table in the evening to have a great meal. On the menu, mezzes, dishes to share and lovely and well-made options.
As a starter, we go for the delicious Stracciatella, beetroot and walnut and the nice board of divine cold cuts.
We continued with the carrot-smoked herring with apples, and the tasty wild bass crudo and spicy virgin sauce.
Moving on to mains, we went for the Casarecces au Ndugo all Puttanesca, namely Fresh Neapolitan style pasta with a nice taste of tomato sauce, capers, olives and chili. Served perfectly warm, they are to die for.
If you are more into fish, go for the seabream fillet with crunchy skin, served with smooth chards and bell pepper mash.
To have a soft finish, enjoy the chocolate mousse with a nice twist of orange, crunchy hazelnuts and zests.
Shall we have a timeless break, then?
