Already set in the Batignolles (17th arrondissement) area, and by Oberkampf (11th arrondissement), Melt – specialized in barbecued meat – inaugurates a third restaurant in Paris. This new venue – still devoted to Texan grilled food – set rue de Cambronne in Paris 15th arrondissement, opens from January 25, 2022.
Since 2016, Melt has been indulging us with delicious smoked meats, cooked for a while to make them ultra-tender, like the pulled pork or brisket, Black Angus beef belly. Six years after they arrived to Paris, the brand unveils a third place, this time on the left bank.
Melt Cambronne is a big smokehouse serving quality meat slowly cooked over low temperature by New-York chef Alexander Smith, for meat fans’ greatest joy. The whole in a neon décor, inspired by Scarface and the 70’s, designed by Atelier HA.
Also on the menu of this new Melt, veal’s kidney nuggets, pastrami sandwich, or even Birria tacos (smoked lamb’s shoulder tortilla with cheese). For the opening, the Melt team does not only serve Texan food, but also New York specialties or from New Orleans, especially treats based on Cajun spices.
But Melt also serves revisited cocktails, a large range of rums (more than 25 references) and natural wines.
Good news for U.S. style breakfast fans, this Melt opens from the morning and serves Texan breakfast based on eggs, bacon, sausages, and hash browns.
And bonus, Melt Cambronne enjoys a 30-seat terrace. Which is very enjoyable.
