Les Artizans, a friendly bistro on rue de Montorgueil next to Les Halles, which combines good market cuisine with delicious pastries, is launching a brunch program on Saturdays and Sundays. Let's go and find out!

Looking for a good brunch in Paris's 1st arrondissement , in the Halles district? Let's head to 30 rue Montorgueil to discover Les Artizans.

Every Saturday and Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., this friendly, welcoming bistro offers a brunch at €39 per person.

As a reminder, Les Artizans is a lovely marriage between traditional and modern market cuisine, led by Patrick Canal, and delicious pastries imagined by Matthieu Mandard. At Les Artizans, we love good produce direct from the producers, and wine from the winemakers themselves.

So it's time to settle in for a gourmet brunch in this warm, stone-and-wood setting.

We start with a pretty basket of bread from Poujauran and a flaky brioche from Matthieu Mandard, all topped with butter, crunchy hazelnut spread and seasonal jam. We choose our hot beverage between coffee, tea or homemade hot chocolate and one of the fresh fruit juices of the day. For me, it's a pear-cinnamon latte and hot chocolate.

Once you've gobbled up the breakfast part, it's on to the all-you-can-eat cold buffet. On the menu:

  • Salmon Gravlax with pink berries and pickled onions,
  • Vitello tonnato,
  • Assorted cold cuts,
  • Assorted cheeses,
  • Coleslaw salad,
  • Mediterranean pasta salad,
  • Cod and salmon tarama,
  • Cream soup of the day,
  • Whelks and shrimps

It's good and tasty, but don't get carried away: a hot dish served at the table awaits you next. You can choose between:
Les Œuf Bénédicte bacon or smoked salmon (bread pudding, poached egg, spinach shoots, mousseline sauce).

Vegetarian Bowl: Red cabbage, quinoa with coconut milk, sweet potato purée, carrots with cumin. Delicious, we recommend it, whether you're a vegetarian or not.

Or roast free-range chicken with apple purée.

We make a quick stop at the cheese before moving on.

Matthieu Mandard's all-you-can-eat desserts round off the meal. The program includes chocolate mousse, pineapple, fresh fruit salad, apple tart, tiramisu, filled chouquettes and flan...
