For a richly topped, affordable Neapolitan pizza made to the highest standards, head to Bricktop Pizza on the banks of the Canal Saint-Martin.

If you too find that the puffy, plump dough of Neapolitan pizzas in some Paris restaurants is often soggy and undercooked, and that you'd almost prefer Roman pizzas with their thin, crispy dough, then here's an address that might just change your mind, as it turns all preconceptions on their head.

This is not a new address, but rather a sure bet: Bricktop Pizza, located on the banks of the Canal Saint-Martin since 2017. It's no surprise that Bricktop's dough is particularly tasty: it's made from a blend of French oatmeal flour and artisanal Italian flour, then baked in a traditional Neapolitan oven!

But good dough isn't everything: you also need to find good products on it. This is the case at Bricktop Pizza, which sources its fresh produce from France or directly from Italy. Nevertheless, the pizzas are affordable for Paris, starting with the traditional margherita pizza at just €8.

Other more original recipes are also on the menu, such as the excellent pizza n°5, with Pugliese stracciatella, garlic-infused olive oil, oregano and small yellow tomatoes (keeping in mind that it's not tomato season yet; 12€), or pizza n°2, an improved version of the 4-cheese pizza, with mozzarella, Ossau-Iraty from the Basque country, creamy Bleu d'Auvergne, 24-month Parmesan cream and walnuts (12€).

Lovers of even naughtier pizzas won't hesitate to opt for the spicy pizza with salame piccante, chorizo and sweet pepper (11.5€), the Punta d'Anca bresaola pizza with homemade pesto verde (13.5€), and of course the now unmissable truffle cream pizza (14.5€).

We warn you in advance: Bricktop Pizza's pizzas are particularly well topped, as well as being tasty. But if you still want to opt for an appetizer, then go for the huge (and we mean it) creamy burrata to share (or not; 10€), or for the Maison's garlic bread, topped with garlic-infused olive oil and fresh herbs (4.5€). And to wash it all down, we rinse our throats with a good craft beer from the BapBap brewery!

2022 marks the opening of a third Bricktop Pizza location in Paris! After the Canal Saint-Martin and Clichy, the 14th arrondissement will be the setting for a new takeaway spot in the Plaisance-Pernety district! If you're a pizza lover, you've come to the right place!
