Called Shanghai in the 1930’s, this former house of ill repute has been first a Corsican gambling society (the Le Cercle Central) before becoming a private reception hall named Villa Frochot.
Well-known by nightbirds and gambling professionals, it turned into the Villa Mikuna. Endowed with mystery with its magnificent Art Déco stained-glass windows inspired by an engraving depicting the Kanagawa wave by Japanese painter Hokusaï, the place is divided into two areas. A solar restaurant with a ceiling covered in plants, contemplating the famous windows. And a tapas bar in a rotunda room playing a livelier soundtrack carried out by live South-American bands.
Discover the magnificent Hokusai stained-glass windows listed as French cultural heritage, as well as the exceptional parquet flooring.
