Yi One, that's the name of the new Chinese restaurant that opened on the Left Bank, just a step away from the Jardin du Luxembourg. A hot spot that offers you good Jianbing pancakes, noodle and ravioli soups and steaming hot baozis.

Do you like Asian cuisine, especially Chinese? And if you were to discover Yi One, this new Chinese restaurant in the 5th district of Paris which has something to seduce you. Little sister of Yi Bowl Noodle, the Chinese restaurant Yi One has the particularity to propose us on its side good Chinese pancakes.

These pancakes, called jianbing in China, are a speciality from the north-east of China. It is a street food speciality that can be found especially in street stalls. These pancakes are made with mung bean flour and are garnished with seeds at Yi One. On the spot, to take away or by delivery, let yourself be tempted by the braised beef pancake, the pork zhajiang version, the sausage pancake or even fried chicken. You can even ask for extra cheese and adjust the spice level from 1 to 3 (1 being the small player and 3, the Warrior).

You can also taste delicious noodle soups and the famous shrimp ravioli that are already the success of Yi Bowl Noodle. We opted for the beef noodle soup and the bowl of meaty ravioli.

Add to that a delicious marinated tofu with a spicy sauce, fried chicken and nice Baozis served by 3 or 6 (pork, chicken or beef) and you are ready to enjoy yourself. Finally, we finish with dessert with red bean baozis, sesame pancakes or the dessert of the moment.

In the dining room, a sober decoration reminds us of China and its small neighborhood restaurants. Steaming baskets set the tone at the entrance on the ceiling and we see the cooks working in front of us. Like a canteen, we settle down without fuss to spend a good gourmet moment.
