Switzerland will be back at the foot of the Eiffel Tower this winter! From December 1, 2022 to March 2023, head to the esplanade of the Paris Aquarium to (re)discover Place Suisse, an ephemeral and gourmet village celebrating the country of cheese!

New and second edition for Place Suisse. This ephemeral village, of about 1000m² and dedicated to the Swiss country, is back at the foot of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, to warm us up all winter long. From December 1, 2022 to March 2023, you will be able to enjoy this ultra gourmet Swiss village on the esplanade of theParis Aquarium.

Open 7 days a week, from noon to midnight, Place Suisse has the firm intention of taking us on a journey to the foot of the most beautiful Helvetian mountains and intoxicating us with delicious specialties based on Swiss cheese, of course.

In the middle of this typical Swiss village, you will find a dozen wooden chalets, but also a playground for the youngest. On the program? A chamboule-tout, angling and a little train for an original walk.

In the meantime, the more gourmet ones will go to the many chalets. For lovers of Swiss cheese, the Chez Kückü restaurant is the place to be. Decorated in a high mountain style with multiple wooden cuckoo clocks, you can enjoy raclettes and fondue, but also meat from the Grisons, for a Swiss meal as we like it. All this with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower!

If you are afondue fan, then succumb to the half and half fondue made with Vacherin Fribourgeois and Gruyère AOP. If you are more of a raclette fan, then Chez Kückü suggests the Le Paysan raclette with Agatha potatoes, served with a generous selection of charcuterie (Jambon de pays, jambon blanc, viande des Grisons and rosette).

To vary the pleasures, Chez Kückü also offers you its classic Mac & Cheese (macaroni, smoked bacon, homemade béchamel and Gruyère AOP) or its Valaisan rösti plate (golden potato pancake, smoked bacon, Le Paysan raclette, gherkins, radishes and salad).

For those with a big appetite, don't hesitate to order one of the three desserts on the menu at the end of the meal: the inevitable chocolate mousse with granola chips, served in front of your eyes, or the famous Mont-Blanc (chestnut cream, whipped cream and redcurrants) or the meringue with double Gruyère cream.

You are in a hurry and you don't really have time to sit down? Go to the bell tower where grilled sausages, waffles, pancakes and sandwiches are waiting for you, not to mention mulled wine to be enjoyed in moderation in a 100% Swiss decor (cowbells, farm equipment...) and illuminated. The chalet of the refuge offers you the possibility to privatize tables for meals in larger groups.

Finally, don't forget to stop by Ricardo's store (Swiss second-hand site) to discover a multitude of local products, such as chocolate, Agathe cookies or the surprising Sonaris spread (Swiss Cenovis).

And for those who want to learn how to sing, there is the BAM karaoke box (reservation required)! Note that a huge karaoke organized by BAM is being prepared at Place Suisse on December 28. Notice to the amateurs!
