Big Mamma dream team has done it again! After opening East Mamma this past April, discover Ober Mamma, the latest creation of Big Mamma Group, aiming at highlighting Italian cooking with real Italian prices. Meet in the trendy Oberkampf area to discover Tigrane and Victor’s second Parisian restaurant.

It’s a beautiful story Tigrane Seydoux and Victor Lugger are writing from the Big Mamma group. Less than three months after opening East Mamma, their very first restaurant by Bastille, the two friends give birth to a second address.

Called Ober Mamma and nestled – as the name suggests it – in Oberkampf, this second restaurant is based on the same codes as the first one to provides you with a new restaurant but not only… At Ober Mamma, quench your thirst with the Aperitivo Cocktail Bar!

It’s an incredible place hiding behind 107 Boulevard Richard Lenoir. We discover the huge and iconic bar in the entrance hall, the little corridors where many hams are hung, and the trattoria set under a magnificent 120sqm glass roof and enhanced by Alexander Watherworth Interiors.

We’re delighted by the open-plan kitchen, unveiling a wooden 8-ton double oven.

In other words, you get it, you’ll feel good, very good at Ober Mamma, perfect to do up, sip a few cocktails and even have a glass of Italian wine and discover the incredible range of Italian products available.

Because at Big Mamma, all products are bought directly to producers in Italy and everything is homemade.

On the menu? The unforgettable Mozza di bufala by Salvatore Corso, bresaola cut in the fillet by the Triglia brothers, the authentic Neapolitan pizza cooked on woodfire, fresh pasta, Bruschetta bacio bello, smoked and smooth Stracciatella and even Gorgonzola.

To pair these delicious options, Ober Mamma provides 120 references of Italian wines for wine-cellar prices!

Ober Mamma’s bonus? The Aperitivo Cocktail Bar with – behind the counter – Nicolas Battafarano.

The mixologist (coming from Chilltern Firehouse in London) offers delicious beverages such as the “Mandarine Amère” a fresh long drink based on Cinzano and homemade tangerine jam, as well as the “Safran”, a cocktail based on Italian gin, absinthe and 6-month saffron infusion, without forgetting all the different Spritz and the “Big Mamma” a summery long drink with fresh fruits.

And the chef’s surprise is the Aperitivo offer: every evening this summer, from 6 p.m., have a drink at the bar and enjoy Italian products unlimitedly which is the house’s signature!
