And rumor has it by March 2022, Florian Barbarot is to open his very first place, called Quelque Part in Paris 9th arrondissement. He will serve seafood-inspired cuisine without forgetting his Norman origins very dear to his heart.
In January, 2017 World's Lobster Roll champion Moïse Sfez also presents a new restaurant, Janet. On the menu, the iconic corned beef sandwich, inspired by the traditional Jewish deli in the 50's. Janet takes us to the kitchen of a New York deli with recipes entirely dedicated to pastrami: a nice cut of meat served warm or lukewarm, cut to order and served with rye bread and mustard.
January will be also marked by the opening of Tekes in Paris 2nd arrondissement, by the team already behind Shabour. With Tekes, Assaf Granit, Dan Yosha and Tomer Lanzman mix Israeli traditions and ceremonies with innovative cooking techniques. Each dish gives pride of place to vegetal, placing it at the very center of the plate and staging rituals translating this melting pot very own to Jerusalem.
