L'Île de loisirs d'Étampes (91), the spot for sports and water sports in Essonne

The Étampes leisure center welcomes you all summer long, as well as during the Easter vacations, as soon as the warm weather arrives, to enjoy the activities on offer. What's on the agenda? Sport, discovery and good times to share with friends and family.

Whether you're a beginner or a keen sportsman, you'll be spoilt for choice when it comes to the various activities on offer: accrobranche, luge, skating rink, pumptrack, tyrolienne, rosalies and minigolf are all open on Wednesdays, weekends and public holidays. Your children can also take a pony ride or enjoy aswim in the large wave pool!

Withfree access, this regional leisure center is the only one to offer surfing in a swimming pool... Don't miss a visit to the restaurant, with its panoramic view over the natural lake.

The Base de plein air et de loisirs d'Étampes will be open all summer long. Spread over 140 hectares, the base welcomes families, couples and even companies for days of relaxation or intense sport.

The Étampes leisure park is also a summer activity:

• Swimming area: only swimming in the pool is authorized and supervised in summer. On the two hectares of grassy beach, the large 1750m² wave pool, water games, waterslides and 200m² paddling pool will delight young and old alike. The wave pool will be open from July 3. The beach is open from July 1 to August 31!

• Ice rink area: the 600m² synthetic ice rink awaits young and old all year round.

• Sports and cultural village: in partnership with the Île-de-France region, sports and cultural activities are offered to groups of young people aged 11 to 17, around the theme of the Olympic Games. On the program: badminton, orienteering, basketball and road safety awareness.
• Escape game outdoor
• Tyrolean traverse: two zip lines 300 and 330 metres long for maximum thrills
• Accrobranche: tree courses for all levels, from children to red and black.
• Summer sledging: thrills at nearly 40 km/h, for the whole family!

• Picnics and catering: several picnic areas with tables are available, and an entry + catering package is sure to win over yachtsmen!

• Fun park for 4-12 year-olds: inflatables adapted to different ages await children for moments of fun!

• Multisports area: basketball, soccer and table tennis courts, a bowling green and mountain bike trails are freely available.

• Fishing: fishing is authorized on the banks of the river, provided you have a Leisure Center fishing card.

• Nature area: Camargue horses and Highland cows roam freely in this wild but unspoilt area.

• Brocante: over 300 exhibitors are on hand every second Sunday of the month to sell unusual items.

• Campsite: currently open, it hosts UCPA vacation camps.

• Mini-Golf: an 18-module course awaits you, for €4 per person.

• Equestrian center: the pony club has 30 ponies of all sizes, trained to meet the needs of all ages. The equestrian center includes two sand pits, a cross-country course and a covered riding arena. There's also a club house to relax in!
