Japan Expo 2017 in July in Paris

The Japan Expo is back from July 6th-9th at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Parc des Expositions. It’s the largest festival for Japanese culture and hobbies, and this year, it’s back in full force. This year, the show will offer you exclusive things, for example, the wolrd premiere of the brand new Pokemon movie, the first pictures of Full Alchemist, a Notall concert and cosplay shows...

The Japan Expo is the largest Japanese culture and hobby festival and it’s here again this year! Manga enthusiasts, martial arts fans, gamers or japanese animes lovers, come experience this incredible event at the Parc des Expos de Paris-Nord Villepinte from July 6th-9th, 2017.

From manga to J-Music,Cosplay fashion shows, martial arts, and the latest trends in cooking, the festival explores both traditional Japanese culture and contemporary pop culture. You can meet some of the greatest Japanese artists today, including:

  • Filmmaker Kunihiko YUYAMA, dubbing actress (Sacha's voice) and singer Rica MATSUMOTO for the world premiere of Pokemon the movie: I choose you on Thursday July 6 at 5:30 p.m.

  • Filmmaker Fumihiko SORI, actor Johnny's Ryosuke YAMADA and famous actress Tsubasa HONDA for the screening of the very first pictures of live action Fullmetal Alchemist on Friday July 7 at 1:15 p.m.

  • Filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama who wrote the anime Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex for a livre drawing session on Saturday July 8 at 4:15 p.m.

  • Drawer Shichiro Kobayashi who worked on L'île au Trésors, Ashita no Joe 2, Cobra or even Nobody's Boy: Remi on Friday July 7 at 2:30 p.m.

  • Filmmaker Masahiko OKURA who directed The Silver Guardian and Blue Drop for signing session on Sunday July 9 at 2:30 p.m.

  • Notall's showcase, he won the Tokyo Candoll contest, on Friday July 7 at 1:30 p.m.!
