La Fête à Neuneu is the back-to-school funfair in the Bois de Boulogne, celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. From September 1 to October 15, 2023, young and old are invited to Porte de la Muette to relive the spirit of the vacations.
For four decades, at the dawn of each new school year, La Fête à Neuneu has been reviving the magic of summer vacations. A family event par excellence, it's packed with attractions for all ages: from children's rides to bumper cars and traditional duck fishing. And for thrill-seekers, there's the Booster and the brand-new UFO.
A little history... Initiated by Napoleon's decree in 1815, this funfair was first held in Neuilly sur Seine. Quickly dubbed La Fête à Neuneu by the locals, it underwent many changes: from horse-drawn rides to the introduction of electric rides in 1900. After many moves, it found its place in the Bois de Boulogne in the early 1980s, reverting to its emblematic name.
The Fête à Neuneu offers a wide range of attractions and thrills! Emotions and pleasures are the order of the day throughout this festive and convivial event not to be missed in the Bois de Boulogne.
For children, dozens and dozens of traditional rides and attractions are offered every year, including mini roller coasters, flying chairs, Ferris wheels... as well as shows to be defined.
