Devoted to video games, Press Start returns from September 23 to 28, 2020 at Centre Pompidou BPI for its 8th edition. Free of charge, the festival is themed on Post-Apocalypse. On the menu, workshops, meetings and video games!

Even though the unmissable Paris Games Week did not take place this year because of coronavirus, video game fans can yet enjoy the Press Start festival.
Centre Pompidou BPI (Bibliothèque publique d’information – Public Data Library) welcomes from Wednesday September 23 to Monday 28, 2020 the 8th edition of Press Start, a free festival devoted to gaming.

After revival in 2017, emotions in 2018, and cinema in 2019, this year, Press Start festival is themed on Post-Apocalypse, a SF genre taking players in the life after the apocalypse.

On the menu of this 6-day festival, video games, meetings, screenings, and even workshops.
You can then discover or rediscover independent, experimental and general public video games themed on post-apocalypse, on your own or with a team, on computer or consoles. But you can also meet professionals of the sector for a chat.

Press Start is also about participative workshops, and this year, you can create an escape room, be introduced to game design, created an arcade, and be taught how to draw a zombie. Because of the health crisis, the number of participants is limited. It explains why even though everything is free of charge you must book for the workshops on line.
