After Grease and Mamma Mia, L’Ecran Pop will offer a new musical and sing-along movie.
It’s “Bohemian Rhapsody”, the movie about Freddie Mercury’s life, Queen charismatic leader, out on October 31, 2018 in theaters and that attracted over 4.2 million viewers in France.
The first (of a long series – let’s hope so) of “Bohemian Rhapsody” sing-alongs was held on Thursday May 16, 2019, before a new session on September 13.
Facing the success, Ecran Pop keeps on providing sing-along screenings of "Bohemian Rhapsody" with an additional date, on Wednesday December 11, 2019, still at Le Grand Rex. But this time it won't take place in THE big room, but in one of the smaller rooms of the biggest theater in Europe, for a more intimate event with only 500 spectators.
As for the other sing-along sessions, L’Ecran Pop has planned to give a tote bag filled with goodies related the movie to all viewers to participate even more to the screening as well as a preshow prior to the movie. Animated by a host, it will include an Open Mic (judged with a clapometer), a live orchestra, a giant quiz (with gifts to win) and the traditional costume contest. And new, you can try your hand at the air guitar, still with Queen songs.
Here’s the program of the night:
We loved “Bohemian Rhapsody” so much when it came out and the vibe during L’Ecran Pop events that we can only recommend you to attend this movie as a karaoke version.
