A gripping movie that has never been more relevant than now… The Operative, a Yuval Adler movie starring Diane Kruger (In the Face, Inglorious Basterds…) as a former Mossad agent infiltrating Iran and threatened is out in French theaters on July 24, 2019. The movie is based on Yiftach Reicher Atir’s novel “The English Teacher” published in 2013 and known for being censored as soon as it was released in Israel as it’s about a sensitive topic, spying.

A movie presented during the Berlinale 2019, out-of-competition, and that also stars Martin Freeman (The Hobbit saga, Sherlock, Captain America: Civil War…), Cas Anver (Argo, Room…) and Lana Hettinger (Les Vestiges de Cécile, Mabul…) While waiting for its release in theaters, let’s discover the trailer together!

Plot:

In the late 2000’s, while the world fears Iran is getting the nuclear weapon, former Mossad agent infiltrated in Teheran Rachel Brooks disappears without leaving any trace. Her mission point of contact Thomas has to find her between the Orient and the Occident since Rachel whether has to come back under the control of the organization… or get killed.
