A movie revisiting this infamous battle between Japan and the United States of American in 1942, one year after the first bombings on the atoll and on the Pearl Harbor naval base.

As for the cast, we have Woody Harrelson (Solo: A Star Wars Story, Venom…), Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast, Anna…), Mandy Moore (Tangled, Ralph 2.0…), Patrick Wilson (Aquaman, Annabelle 3…), Ed Skrein (Alita: Battle Angel, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil…) or even Nick Jonas (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle…).

After the walloping at Pearl Harbor that left the American navy devastated, the Japanese Imperial navy prepares another attack that should definitely eliminate all the air and sea forces left of his enemy. The campaign of the Pacific will take place in a small and isolated atoll in north of Pacific: Midway. Admiral Nimitz – commanding the American fleet – sees this battle like the ultimate chance to turn the Japanese supremacy around. A race against time starts for Edwin Layton who has to break the secret codes of the Japanese navy and thanks to the intelligence, to allow the pilots of the American air force to face the greatest offensive ever led in the conflict.
