After winning the Oscar for best short movie, “Skin” is now a feature film. Israeli filmmaker and scriptwriter Guy Nattiv delivers a movie about former skinhead Bryon Widner.
Guy Nattiv chose Jamie Bell for the main character for his movie that you’ve also seen in Rocketman, the biopic about Elton John, or even Fantastic Four where he was the thing, as well as “Nymphomaniac” by Lars Von Trier with Charlotte Gainsbourg. Jamie Bell plays alongside Danielle Macdonald, who also starred in the short movie and Vera Farmiga who plays Lorraine Warren in the “Conjuring” series including the latest Anabelle movie released earlier this year.
“Skin” is currently competing at the Deauville American Film Festival – closing on September 15. If the French release hasn’t been unveiled yet, the trailer has dropped.
