Review:
Explosions, adrenaline, funny lines and situations: Free Guy is the perfect movie to see with family and friends this summer. Gamers will enjoy this new universe, very representative of the very popular online games, with many easter eggs to spot all along the movie. Those who never touched a gamepad can be rest assured: the story and the stakes of the movie are understandable, even though you are no skilled player.
But Free Guy also gives food for thoughts: are our lives already planned out? What freedom do we have? Can one take their destiny in hand and create, for oneself and others a better future? With these themes, Free Guy reminds us of the excellent Truman Show without being a copy. At the end, it is a merry and funny story, and you leave the room wanting to explore the world and dare to all kinds of things one's daily life prevents us from doing.
To discover Free Guy in theaters, meet on August 11, 2021.
