The Woman in the Window is the new movie by Joe Wright starring Amy Adams, Gary Oldman and Julianne Moore! While waiting for its French release on May 20, 2020, here’s the trailer.

After “Pride and Prejudice”, “Atonement” or even “Darkest Hour”, American director Joe Wright presents his latest movie. Called “The Woman in the Window”, this psychological thriller is based on the eponymous bestseller by Tracy Letts (awarded by a Pulitzer award).

As for the cast, Joe Wright bet on a very beautiful cast starting with Amy Adams (Fighter, On the Road, Her, Vice…) as an agoraphobic psychologist. By her side, we also have Gary Oldman (Harry Potter, The Dark Knight Rises, Paranoia, Darkest Hour…) and Julianne Moore (A Single Man, Still Alice, Gloria Bell, Suburbicon…), as well as Anthony Mackie (Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War…), Wyatt Russel (22 Jump Street, Overlord), Bryan Tyree Henry (Joker, Hotel Artemis) as well as Jennifer Jason Leigh (The Affair).

Plot:

Psychologist for children and agoraphobic Dr. Anna Fox lives cloistered in her house in New York and spends most of her time watching old movies and spying on her neighbors. Yet, she becomes friends with Jane Russell who just moved in with her family in the opposite building.
Her life changes suddenly when one night, looking in the window once again, Anna sees something she shouldn’t have seen at the Russell’s to the point she suspects her neighbor to have make Jane disappear…
But how can she prove the legitimacy of her allegations when everyone makes you doubt about your reason and things are not what they seem?

Trailer:

To discover “The Woman in the Window” on the big screen, meet on May 20, 2020 in French movies.
