Dr. Morbius was to come to our big screens, on August 5, 2020 in France, with a Spider-Man spin-off by Daniel Espinosa. The movie is ultimately postponed to March 2021 because of the coronavirus epidemic. While waiting to meet the enigmatic character played by Jared Leto, here’s the trailer.

This summer 2020 will be super-hot for Marvel universe fans with the release of Morbius. Said to be out in France in March 2021, this Spider-Man spin-off is directed by Daniel Espinosa (Easy Money, Safe House, Life). Note that Morbius is the second movie from the common Sony’s Marvel Universe after Venom released in 2018.

And to play the enigmatic Dr. Morbus, the Swedish director called in Jared Leto (Requiem for A Dream, Suicide Squad, Blade Runner 2049…), along with Matt Smith (XI) (Mapplethorpe, Patient Zero, The Crown…), Jared Harris (Chernobyl season 1, Lincoln, Mad Men…).

Severely affected by a rare blood disease and willing to save every victim of this illness, Dr. Morbius tries a desperate bet. But what seems to be a success first quickly becomes a potential remedy every worst than the disease itself…

To see the result on the silver screen, let’s be a little more patient and wait until March 2021 and discover Jared Leto as the very awaited Dr. Morbius.
