Morbius starring Jared Leto: new trailer and new release date

Dr. Morbius was to come to our big screens, on August 5, 2020 in France, in a Spider-Man spin-off by Daniel Espinosa. The movie is ultimately postponed to late March or ealy April, 2022 (out in the U.S. on April 1), because of the coronavirus epidemic. While waiting to meet the enigmatic character played by Jared Leto, here is the latest trailer.

2022 will be super-hot for Marvel universe fans with the release of Morbius. Said to be out in France on January 26, 2022, the movie is postponed to late March or early April 2022 (U.S. release on April 1st). This Spider-Man spin-off is directed by Daniel Espinosa (Easy Money, Safe House, Life). Note that Morbius is the second movie from the common Sony’s Marvel Universe after "Venom" released in 2018.

And to play the enigmatic Dr. Morbus, the Swedish director called in Jared Leto (Requiem for A Dream, Suicide Squad, Blade Runner 2049…), along with Matt Smith (XI) (Mapplethorpe, Patient Zero, The Crown…), Jared Harris (Chernobyl season 1, Lincoln, Mad Men…).

Plot:

Severely affected by a rare blood disease and willing to save every victim of this illness, Dr. Morbius tries a desperate bet. But what seems to be a success first quickly becomes a potential remedy every worst than the disease itself…
