The extraordinary Mr. Rogers" is the title of Marielle Heller 's new feature film ("The Manhattan Counterfeiters"). The film stars the ever-talented Tom Hanks as newscaster Fred Rogers. The film will be broadcast on television this Monday, July 10 at 11:15pm on France 3.
For 30 years, he has hosted the children's TV show"Mister Rogers' Neighborhood". He meets a journalist, played in the film by Matthew Rhys ('A Vif', 'The Americans', 'Pentagon Papers'...), who is to publish a portrait of the famous host.
Joining them in the cast are Chris Cooper ('Sous Surveillance', 'Les Filles du Docteur March'), Susan Kelechi Watson ('Blacklist') and Enrico Colantoni ('The Dark Stranger', 'Contagion').

Synopsis:
